after a few months of not reading anyone's BLOGS at all, i've just gotten into some of my friends' blogs and caught up with them... and it's now 3:20 AM here and those blogs have given me so much stimulations that i can't even go to bed at all. there is so much of excitements, sorrows, and whatsoever in these blogs that i'm starting to wonder if it is actually better to not to catch up with the blogs? would it be better to meet friends whom i haven't seen in a few years and catch up with them? that way, they'd give me a few highlights of their lives instead of the 'common' daily lives... as you know that there are awfully many bloggers out in this world, and you'd be only reaching, perhaps, 0.000000000001% of the bloggers' journals... so why not try to un-addict yourself from the blog world and try to move on by purchasing a roundtripper to one of your long-lost friends' hometown so you can stir a chit-storm with your friend? i would like to believe that you could feel something tingly on your air-ride back to your home after seeing your long-lost friend. or even perhaps, try to come up with a new art or craft project that you could try to learn? perhaps learn how to fly a helicopter like my friend's friend recently did after having a successful career... anyway, back to the point, i just hope that i will only post blogs here on what i think is very worth for everyone here to read so you won't find my blog too predictable ;-)

i guess i'm just feeling philosophical here after going through a memory lane of melave's wedding where i have encountered many new and old friends... now about my new venture - madagascar...

many of them have asked me what was the purpose of volunteering at a deaf school in madagascar which i will be starting soon along with my lovely susie next week. one reason: take a deep glance at the third world kids' faces compared to the well-$$$ kids. susie and i would like to share our invaluable knowledge to the deaf community and kids in madagascar for them to grow in the future. also, we've been saving lots of $$$ for this trip without any help from government agencies or non-profit agencies. we hope that we'll be able to donate some for the new materials and supplies for a deaf school in madagascar. i will provide more details about this trip once i get a new separate blog mainly for this project shortly.

ok, enough of my blah blah blah which i don't normally type into... stay tuned for the madagascar blog and hopefully you'll be able to contribute, too, if you have the itch to help and make a difference for those kids!

for the ????th time, i know that the comments is whacked up, but i've already installed a new blog system and tweaking some stuff. hopefully i'll be able to get this up before i leave for africa next week! ta da!!!
