my darling placed my powerbook which is being stored in a firm cushioned sleeve protector on the floor of my jeep's backseat. since she was driving around in my jeep with me, her seat was being adjusted to fit her petite frame. after a few stops, the driver's seat is usually back to its original position due to the memory of my remote keys, thus damaging my powerbook without our knowledge a couple of times...
finally, as we arrive home to unload all the things, i found that my powerbook had been stuck underneath the driver's seat thus crushing the outer middle end. the lcd screen has gone whacked out, but miraculously my 4.5 years old hard drive and chip still survived... and i was able to hook it up with a vga monitor. i guess i can put up with this inconvenience until i get a spanking brand new mac sometimes next year or so... my powerbook has really survived through hard times - 2 drops, 1 crush, and countless abuses of my fingertips...
so, i think in theory, it's nice to spoil yourself with a power seat, but how often do you really adjust your seat???
