recently went to banksy's exhibition...
gotta admit that he just nailed it perfectly with his masterpieces and controversy surrounding him. sometimes, i get the feeling that he's toying with media to manipulate us into buying his art pieces. almost all of his original paintings were sold out already with starting price of $50k for a measly puny one - perhaps like 12" by 16"! branangelica even purchased 3 of his pieces which were worth more than $400K! banksy has definitely become king midas now!

banksy's take on this picnic painting: we the western society enjoying our picnic and being spoiled while the poverty is suffering... he got the idea as he was watching the news eating dinner... you always see poverty problem on the news while we're doing nothing. i wouldn't be surprised if bradangelica purchased this painting. it's facking huge, like 25 feet by 12 feet!

this is probably the exhibition's highlight: a live elephant being covered with painting to represent the poverty on this earth.
