guess i've recorded only 1 blog for the last 10 days... is that a bad sign or what? it's funny that a few years ago, i used to blog often like once a day when i had a stable job. but in these days, i'm constantly going back n forth remodeling our new apartment, working on ooqboo.com, and daydreaming... i haven't had the time to hit my local rock gym lately. chinese new year's around the corner so i just want to gesture myself: *bowing* gung hay fat choy! hope you peepos have a prosperous and golden year to come! it's a doggie year after all, so please be very very good to every doggie you encounter.

earlier this afternoon after my follow up at a dentist's office on van ness ave, i decided to take a long stroll to a local shop called _american rag_ to check out its latest apparel. on the way to the shop, i noticed a few cops' cars parked on the curbside just opposite of starbucks. there was a cop who was telling a passerby that starbucks is closed. i just walked past a few police officers and a few starbucks' employees on the sidewalk on the way... after i was done with shopping at the store, i walked back on the same route to my jeep and i noticed that a few vans from local news stations had parked nearby, and a few people had started to gather in front of starbucks. i couldn't care much about this stuff and just ignore all the sh*t there.

now, i just got home from the city and picking up my darling at the airport. i just got online and checked out cnn.com, i notice that there's a headline link about SF's bomb scare, so i check on it for the article. whoa... that's exactly the starbucks where the bomb was held... obviously, the starbucks employee just found it right before i had walked past the starbucks. i guess the cops were smart enough not to cause some panic on the spot otherwise i'd be staying on the spot and check out what the fuss is all about!

anyway, yes, i just got back home last saturday night and it's been nice to be back home and chill out all day yesterday!

time to assemble and install new cabinets in the kitchen soon this week!

while many old friends from europe have been surprised by our unexpected show in at a huge deaf nye's bash, we were somewhat mobbed by many local europeans about our chinese ancestry as they don't normally see many asians in the party. as usual, they were frankly surprised to see that we are from america.
