it must be that time of spring on a saturday... i don't even recall going to soho on a saturday. occasionally, i would be in soho during weekdays where there are less people and more celebrities sightings. i don't even remember whom i saw there ever since i lived here... i didn't even realize that i did actually see pierce bronson when i was in east village until i was going through my old pictures and saw a picture of pierce bronson. while a celebritiy sighting might give you a brief thrill, i don't even give a crap about it unless a friend drags me into it! anyway, today, nyc got a nice brief gift: warm weather, something that everyone needs it badly for now. anyway, it's really nice to be back home, to be honest with you... nice to be back home to spend time with my beloved sweetie. nice to be back home with my goodies in kitchen. nice to be back home to chill out and spread my legs on a coffee table...
oh speaking of chilling out, my third roommate, jacob, will be moving out soon in a few days to little italy/soho area. that gives me more space around apartment, but i'd have to chip more $$$ into apartment rental. blawwah....

friends in hk and tokyo
now back home after being locked out for a couple of hours as i seem to have misplaced my keys somewhere during the trip...
it's really nice to be back in a familiar environment with briskly diversed people bumping on the way...
now, to recover my horrible cold, i have to rest now...
so in the meantime, here's a random picture taken in busy street of tokyo night...

just want to give you, my fellows, an update of myself in tokyo...
believe it or not, i have been super-busy in tokyo ever since i got here from hong kong. it's actually about 140 am here now (i think 12 hours later from nyc time) ever since susie left back home last sunday, i've been practically on foot all week long searching for toy shops as well as meet new connections for future collaborations. so, if you are into toys and visit tokyo one day, the best spot for you to check out would be nakano broadway in nakano area. it has absolutely everything you want to look for. mandarake is absolutely a paradise for many anime, toy, and book collectors. i think mandarake has like at least 20 different speciality shops in nakano broadway mall. anyway, while many people may think that i'm merely having fun on a long vacation, i can assure you that 80% of the time has been strictly business. believe it or not, i'm so ready to head back home already! with my fourth trip to tokyo already, you can say that i'm somewhat bored with tokyo's intriguing culture and nightlife. i do miss meshing through many varieties of human beings as opposed to japaneses... see you soon this monday! but allow me to catch up my sleep and i can then see you after tuesday online, in flesh, or in spirits...

one of my cousins wanted me to post of my 'fresh' haircut that i took while staying in hong kong, so here is it... it seems like my hairdo changes daily every time i wake up...
i'm still in tokyo for now. just been working on searching for the best toys as well as making new connections (as well as to mingle with new and old friends, too). it's likely that i'll be celebrating st. patrick's day alone in tokyo... perhaps i could just have everyone gather together and teach 'em a 'green' 101... how fun it'd be to pinch 'em with their awed culture shock.
ever since i landed my foot on hk's turf, susie and i have been going non-stop lately... we got here last thursday late night and went to bed at my relatives' place. next morning, we took off to shenzhen, just across the border from hk's democracy into china's communism. environment was soooo different as you could tell that the buildings in shenzhen had "made in china" label with its poor architectures. nevertheless, we came to shenzhen to look for custom-made clothing for our wedding banquet. the tailor-made dresses were soooo CHEAP, like 3 times much cheaper than usa's normal price that susie even ordered 3 dresses instead of 2. after hanging out in shenzhen for the whole day, it was back to HK, but i had a litle incident at the HK's custom area as they held me for having a damaged passport. they told me to renew my passport sometimes soon even though my passport is still legit. (most of my pages' corners were torn off from abuse use). the passport has been damaged for the past 2 years, and this is a first for any custom official to bust me for a lame damaged passport. anyway, once we get back to my relatives' pad, we totally crashed for nearly 12 hours!
saturday: we woke up around noon, and went out to causeway to meet my cousin, kathy. from there, kathy took me out to her favorite hair salon as i do need a haircut badly since i do stand out pretty well in HK's scene. after the haircut, we went shopping around causeway bay for dunks and clothing. i've managed to get myself a pair of devilock jeans which was half price off at juice. later that night, we dined at my relatives' home and then took a nice late night stroll around soho and lan kwai fong.
sunday: (today) i woke up early after only 5 hours of sleep. been online for a few hours mostly for business stuff, and we'll be off to mong kok to do toy shopping as well as clothes too.
well, that's pretty much for it for now. i have to wake up susie as she's an alligator lately since she got here... she deserves it as she's quite glad to be away from new york for a while...
we're at narita airport and we're waiting to catch a flight to hong kong. we've been here for a few hours and our plane is leaving soon in about half hour...
we're going to board a 747 plane yet there aren't many passengers here in our waiting area... i guess susie and i can jog around to burn our calories for fun and drive these passengers nuts...
5 bucks for a day at narita airport for using wifi. pretty cheap since i saw an internet cafe nearby here and it charges internet access for 1 buck for 10 minutes. nice to bring my laptop with me here! anyway, we gotta run as passengers are starting to board right now...
susie and i are off to hk and japan in 7 hours, plainly to get away from usa for a while... mainly, i'm in it for chinese wedding costume AND toy/books shopping for ooqboo. susie will be going to shop for chinese wedding dress, too as well as more apparel. we'll stay in tokyo for a few days to hang out with our ol' buddies...
i'll try to feed you the news from there...
