graffiti party

we got to the lanuch party real late around 11 pm due to the fact that we stayed at another pub too long because we were chatting with many deaf people there. we waited in a long line to get into the party. had we got here before 10 pm, we'd have gotten free admission, but unfortunately, we had to pay £5 to get in. the bar itself was smaller than i expected, but nevertheless, they had some great graffiti work via slide show and a few canvas on the wall. the people there were down to earth with their creative fashion attires, as opposed to trendy looks, much like nyc's lower east side fashion. a deaf guy asked me if nyc has some clubs like this atmosphere, and i said yeah... since he said that he likes this kind of thing and london doesn't have many bars like that. i only stayed there for like an hour or so as i lost track of time, and missed the tube train as the station was cllllooooseeed. sooooooo, i had to find a way back home... and finally found a bus that takes me to central finchley where my cousin lives. finally an hour and half, i got home! anyway, i was little bit disappointed with the party for its exhibitition was small... but still i had a good time last night...

now, i'm off to heathrow airport to catch my 6 pm flight back to new york!

bye london... thanks for all the good memories!!!

extending my stay in london!

at last minute, i've decided to stay in london for two more extra nights after finding out that a cool coffee book _graffiti world_ is having its launch party at a club along with its few artists showing up with their artwork... i hope to get one of its limited edition package which will show one of the artists' graffiti works. for more info about this book:

(check out the work by kid acne... i hope to get a hand on his package)

anyway, i guess, by nature, i'm not ready to go home yet, knowing that this is my last foreign trip for a while!

back in london now

i'm at my cousin's flat in london and his parents have left back to their home up north, so i got some free time to do this blog. but i have to make it brief because i'm still not feeling too well. (still fighting off that nasty gooey mucus out of my body system) i am looking forward to go back home soon this tuesday, and catch up with all the emails as well as quality time with my beloved darling. despite being sick on the trip, i must say that the trip was pretty fun though i wish i could be healthy enough to do more bouldering. i feel sooooo weak right now. it sucks to have that horrible sinus taking a control of your breath. definitely an evil bio-viral!

leaving amsterdam...

today's the last day of amsterdam, and we're trying to finish our veggie substance today before we get into a plane later tonight. i think we might head off to heineken factory as tim wants to check it out. then we'll be done with amsterdam. last night, we went to suburban utretcht to check out netherlands' bad-ass bash. the club, tivoli, there was pretty big and had a nice big stage for all the visual performances, including american dancing group, _ rathskeller_. we got to mingle with a few old faces, but many new faces there. after going through the human maze, we finally had left back to amsterdam at 4 am.

anyway, it's unlikely that i'll have internet access while in fontainebleau, so you may not see an update from me for a while...

stoney city

i'm in amsterdam right now. my traveling partner, tim, and i finally got our hands on hash and we've gotten ourselves baked for the whole evening. i must admit that it wasn't a lovely evening when tim started to realize that his us passport was missing from his trusty pocket. so it kinda ruined the night and we had to take a long stroll back to our hostel to see if he'd left his passport in his jacket... fortunately he found it, and was so relieved and we headed back to the red light district where tim paid a pair of huge jars of heinnies to make up for the lost time. today, i'll check out anne frank's house and just relax before zooming to utretcht for a huge international deaf bash. tomorrow, we're off to paris and hit the road to fontainbleau!

anyway, for some reason, i had to type this:

i kinda miss my hunny already as i don't feel right toking without her presence... come and visit amsterdam sometimes soon, darling before the big brother makes the big M illegal!

sheffield, uk

we're in sheffield, uk after a brief morning of bouldering at the peak district. it's raining here right now and we've had a difficulty of finding an internet access here in sheffield. seems like sheffield's mainly a traditional city instead of modern-ever london.

for the past 2 days, we've climbed at the peak district and it's pretty neat there. great rustic environment. great quality of rocks. the gritstone rock is kinda sticky that i even had the guts to climb a 30-foot arete highball. hopefully we'll get one last go at the peak tomorrow am before we take off for liverpool tomorrow evening.

a nice warm up of signing

last night, after attending a friend's birthday party, my friend, susie, and i took the train back home during the dawn. during the ride, we were chatting with our flying hands. one guy was standing in the middle staring us for the whole time, and finally he came to us, and gestured that he had taken gestuno class in spain. while susie and our friend, virginia, didn't know much about gesturing, i was much more happy to chat with him. it's quite rare to bump into a hearing foreign guy who knows gestuno. our train was stuck at 7th avenue and 53rd st for like almost an hour or so for no reasons at all, but nevertheless, we had a wonderful time interacting with him and his buddies. they were visiting new york for about 2 weeks before heading out to california. it was nice to do gestuno signing with him just in time for my trip to europe soon this tuesday. i'll be staying in europe for about 3 weeks, so i will try to keep you updated whenever i get my hands on the keyboard at an internet cafe there.

only two more days till london... me psyched? not yet.. i'm never psyched till i am THERE!
