my roommate got a new digicam, canon s400, today and that's what i gave him:

like it?
enter DMV's office: 1130 am
waiting in the first line to get information: 15 minutes
filling the forms to exchange my out of state driver's license for nys license: 2 minutes
waiting in the second line to get my mugshot: 2 hours
waiting in the waiting room to get my temporary card: 1.50 hours
out of the DMV's office: 3:17 pm
so what you'd need to do out of this case is to bring a dayum book.
that's something i regretfully didn't bring it... instead i've been wasting my time daydreaming and looking at what new yorkers are all about.
today's supposed to hit 95 degrees today and tomorrow it'll hit 97. I hear that some areas will get 100s. what's the deal with the erratic weather we've been getting here in NYC? last week we get shitty weather with heavy loads of cold rain. this week we get another shitty weather with scorching therometer with high humidity. makes me wonder if i've moved to nyc at such a wrong timing?

here's a picture of me making next move desperately at blowing rock boulders a couple of days ago.
i just went to boone, nc over the weekend after the coopers rock plan got foiled by the RAIN again. right now i'm in dc for the night before heading back to nyc tomorrow. boone has such a nice collection of boulders:
blowing rock boulders
grandmother boulders
i'm definitely gonna come back in the fall to finish some of my projects there, especially that awesome classic arete one at grandmother's.
i found a full mattress for the third roommate from italy who's staying here for the summer only. (of course it helps to have a third roommate to cut my rental cost down) our bedroom is full of clutters as we try to find our ways to our bed yet our living room is somewhat minimalistic with plenty of ample space around. i think i'd like to call our bedroom the funky cave.
anyway, no more guests crashing over at our pad for the next two weeks. this should give me some time to get my arse started in job searching. i feel so unmotiviated about the jobs right. it has to do with the fact that $$$ is flowing in from my apartment income plus unemployment insurance though i still cautiously watch my pockets with my needle and thread in my hand.
lately, for the couple of weeks, i've had this awesome idea in my head for my website. i plan to revamp it someday soon. why is it many peepos get the spurt of creative juice flowing in your head when they're being in the state of chaos like me when i had TWO full weeks of guests crashing at my pad? i may be not a psychologist, but i believe that it has to do with mental block when i'm not conscious of what i'm trying to create.
all right, i'll just quit my useless rant for now then!
good night!
there's a HUGE sale for a r/t flight from nyc to singapore for only TWO HUNDRED FIFTY bucks between july 1st and aug. 30th. the sale is only limited to first 2000 peepos and it started today already and the sale will end in a couple of days. i'm still debating whether to go there or not. my gf wants to go, but she seems to be petrified of SARS there. i don't know if her folks will let her go because of SARS. i don't know whether to go by or not by myself because of $$$ even though normally it costs about 700 wackoos or more to go to singapore from here! it seems like it's hard to find a traveling partner in these days as many peepos i know are working while i'm not! if you're reading this and are interested in joining me, pls don't hestitate to e-mail me and we'll see if we could reserve some seats!
my godson, ethan, enjoying the east hampton beach yesterday.

you won't believe this, but i'm actually inside of my jeep parked next to my apartment so i won't get a dayum parking ticket due to street cleaning time. it's really nice to have a wireless shit working here even though the reception barely connects. (i had to open my jeep's sunroof in order to make this connection work!) i woke up at 7 am this morning and i can't find a friggin' parking. i think it's time for me to park my jeep at my roomie's brother's place. (if you're reading this, would u let me park around your place soon?)
my godson, ethan, has arrived today and will be staying in my place for a week along with his mom. so don't expect me to type up lots of blogs this week. the 15 month old baby will definitely wear me out already in a week as i'll try to have ethan learn lots of things about nyc! hope he gets to check out some nice labies along the streets...
