just great! today i just gotten myself a 'dead' jeep. but my friend was nice enuff to give me a ride to the shop to get a fresh battery for my jeep. now it runs like a brand new. i found out that i had left one of my interior lights on for like a few days or so. even a jump start on my battery won't get my engine started, and the sad thing is that the battery's only like 7/8 months old!!! ggrrrr... anyway, after replacing the battery, i headed back home and guess what i found on bottom of my sandals....

I'm just lucky to wear a pair of thick naot sandal soles. i just found this tack off my sole. had i worn my fave reef sandals, my right foot would have had punctured the arch of my foot because the sole is worn out.. it's like only a quarter inch thick! the tack is like almost an inch LONG! anyway, i'm off to pick up susie in a few hours. i would probably need to take a quickie NAP right now! ;-)

virus - what we the humans can do to kill it off? i've been sick with virus for the past weekend, and i'm still feeling crappy. totally amazing on how a simple virus can infect a big, complicated system of human being. maybe i should call this virus the "ILOVEHUMANS virus." anyway, my sweetie is coming to town soon this week! me excited... so excuse me if you don't see any posting here for the next seven days or so as she'll keep me busy from writing here :-)
thanks to this,

i got stuck in el train for almost an hour. while standing in the train, i can't help but wonder if any of the commuter in the train is enochlophobia? that would lead me to compare the commuters here with european commuters. while traveling in europe a while ago, i noticed that these commuters do not care if the train's so crowded that your body's being pressed together with other bodies. but right here in chicago, everyone's trying too hard not to touch each other. so much for our highly educated minds of deadly tiny bacteria (that wud be bacteriophobia, to you). LOOSEN up, you fussy americans!!! (oh wait... i happen to be american... but then i'm not one of these fussy americans!) also another phobia, macrophobias, some paranoid commuters can't stand to wait long in the train just because they're afraid that their bosses will just fire 'em after being excessively tardy. wow, i never realize that there are so many phobias out in the world! i'm sure that everyone including me have some phobias. i haven't found what kind of phobias i have, but once i do, i'll make sure to post it right here in the future. oh yeah, logizomechanophobias SUCK!
i watched the movie last saturday. though i missed the first 10 minutes of the movie due to bumper to bumper traffic, i thought the movie was pretty intriguing. with the technology based in the movie, i can't help but wonder if our world will become the one in aldous huxley's _brave new world_? a world where everything's perfect? sometimes i can't think how the world can be so perfect? you can't do the good things for the rest of your life because once you do, some bad things are bound to happen. i think of this as part of yin-yang philosophy. sometimes negative aura could be the best thing that has ever happen in your life, so try to approach your negative experiences as rewarding experiences to shape your life for the future instead of trying to deny the experiences that you've gone through. anyway, nevertheless, i thought that the movie had great plot and i give a big thumb up for the movie's special effects!!!
it's been wide known that wine consumption would help human beings than beer; however, a friend (thanks, john) just sent me this link:
http://www.msnbc.com/news/793342.asp?pne=msn&cp1=1
now, i guess we can see a beer vs. wine debate in the long run. i drink both of 'em anyway 'cos i view 'em as alcoholic drinks, period. no comparisons for me. (though in the last sentence of its article, wine groups said that they taste BETTER than beer!)

last saturday i took a limo ride with friends for a friend's 30th birthday evening. now i see what a daily celebrity's fast life is like in a limo. i have to admit that our party in the limo was pretty outrageous yet i immensely enjoyed the wild night moments. happy birthday, rakie! you deserve it, miss vietnamese princess (or is the other way around - bitch?) ;-)

力量对中国聋人民! (Strength to deaf Chinese people!)
i like this: "long" means "deaf", "you" means "friends" thus www.longyou.net for chinese deaf people!
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/sns-conjoinedtwins.story?coll=chi%2Dnews%2Dhed
so the doctors actually cut the twins' cranium in half and they are on the way to full recovery? such a breakthrough age of medical technology. who knows if the med research will be making a 'water' for deafies who want to be hearies, as well as another different 'water' for those who want to become deafies, too.
just got a confirmation email from smalldog.com that the ibook that i want to order has been sold out!!!!!! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! time for me to search for good deals on the web!!! :-(
hey i just purchased macintosh's 600mhz 128ram (plus 256 more) 20gb and a combo drive today for susie for our 5th year anniversary gift as well as her b-day. but why do i get the feeling that i'm going to 'steal' her ibook for the most of the time??? ;-)
