it was nice to see many ol' faces out there as well as greet new friends, too. so that is what NAD is all about - workshops, politics, socializing, networking, college bowl, and pageant. now, NAD's next stop is new orleans, so imagine if all of the deafies would be all over bourbon street with their flying hands!
Out of curiousity, was I.K. Jordan at the NAD conference? Rumor flying out on the east coast that he was flying down to CA and wanting to close all deaf schools.....I think it must a joke!
nice to see how the rumors have changed daily from day 1... i wasn't even at the jordon's keynote speech. i didn't see him and fernandez there, either.
