yesterday i was at JFK for the WHOLE frigging day (530 am till 630 pm) hoping to get into one of those flights to san francisco from new york with susie. unfortunately, all of the flights were completely full and it was susie's first time being not on a plane. that had completely stressed her out! because she had to work the next day, we decided that it was best that she book one-way ticket to oakland on that night while i stay in and try to get into one of the flights next day... this am, i finally got into the first flight barely!
now... usually i don't try to fly standby during the 'peak' periods of time, but since my darling got a new job, we had to fly back last sunday or monday. monday's flights had better chance of getting in, but unfortunately one of the flights (to LA) got cancelled thus many of its passengers got bumped to either LA or SFO flights!
ack...
anyway, now that i'm back here in CA, it was such a welcome feeling to feel the traditional san francisco breeze here! now, i'm house-sitting my folks' home as they've gone to alaska to watch those glaciers droppings.
it was wonderful to see two contrast weddings last week. one jewish wedding and one quick catholic wedding... both were extraordinarily beautiful like many weddings are supposed to! unfortunately, we had COMPLETELY left our lonely camera back home, so we had to rely our friends' to take a few pictures there! i will try to post pictures here if i can! i know that i still haven't yet to post my bike pictures here yet!
