brooklyn's finest streets

two days ago, i went to check out the inner side of brooklyn and enjoyed the diverse streets that brooklyn has to offer. i went to flatbush ave in southern park slope where many negroes took over (from there i finally purchased a pair of basketball kicks) and decided to take advantage of public transportation throughout brooklyn. here are some selected images that i have taken along the way...

Nice pictures. I wish that I could come to NYC to take more pictures. By the way, I suggest you to change "negroes" to a polite word (I know that is your part of expression, but just be careful) because it is insulting word. You may never know other people will feel offended if they read this.

my apologies... i've been reading lots of 'sport' articles and i kept seeing the word, "negro" out of these articles as they are related to negro national baseball league and also there's a national non-profit organization related to Unified Negro Fund. Even my fiancee corrected me on that, too, as negro can ONLY be used for historical context only. so i guess it's how you use the term, negro, in a sentence...

If you have any chance, please post pictures of Harlem - I would love to see them!

Great photos, and yes, it's an interesting use of the "negros", even if people may be a little too sensitive on the subject. Your usage makes me wonder : "your not from around here, are you?"

Do you have photos of Chicago posted anywhere?
