yesterday my fiancee and i just celebrated our 7th year anniversary by going to a cute small cafe along clinton street in LES. i had ordered a sloppy joe's while she ordered a steak slicer sandwich. we had a wonderful time reminiscing our 7 year history. it really doesn't feel like 7 years at all. afterwards, we went to a dessert bar called chikailicious in east village. we had ordered a pre fixe 3 course dessert, and my fiancee who does not have sweet taste buds has found this bar addictive. we enjoyed sitting by the bar and staring at the two ladies creating many different dessert dishes. i gotta warn you about this bar. this is definitely not for big groups at all as it has only about 20 seats, so it's definitely for a couple or a party of 4 or less. i gotta thank my friend, tt, for suggesting this pad even though he hasn't been there before and he's residing in CA! he said he had heard about this place through a review.

we enjoyed our quiet anniversary evening together, but actually we will have another anniversary dinner, but more formal one, as my fiancee got sick last tuesday and wasn't sure if she would be all well by wednesday evening. but this causal evening has certainly ignited our stroll through the memory lane of us.
