earlier today, my guest from arizona took me and my roommate out to a raw food restaurant as she's a 100% raw eater. of course, i'm a man who likes to try MUCH anything even nasty ones, i enjoyed eating them. for lunch, i had a dish of _savory crepe_ which included mushrooms, garlic, nuts, etc along with spinach and argula salad with zesty, tangy dressing. it was pretty good. later on, in the evening, of course, we went back to the same restaurant, and i had a dish of 'lasagna' which had many different fresh raw ingredients that i couldn't distinguish. also on the side was squash family salad as well as argula too. it was pretty good and it really filled up my stomach real quickly due to the fact that they were full of nutrients and enzymes (while cooked, they're gone). my guest also ordered a 3 layer mud pie for dessert and it was soooo dayum delicious! while these food were pretty good, i'm definitely not ready to convert into a raw diet because i know that i won't probably find many raw ingredients while traveling often. perhaps if i'll settle down, who knows if i'll ever eat 80% of raw food in the future.
gabe.. buy life insurance first before u go 100% :)

Posted by: W on July 20, 2004 01:57 AMafter chowing down 4 straight meals with raw ingredients, my rectum finally couldn't stand it and just had a runny s*it recently. that's what i call a case of a traveler's diarrhea as i'm eating new ingredient in a new environment.

Funny, I've practiced vegetarianism and veganism for years, but never thought about becoming a raw foods eater, because I love cooked foods too much. Ethiopian, hint, hint. Now I'm dangerously becoming an omnivore in the midst of an eating ideology crisis.
