finally... at last...

i've been in lhasa for about six days (i left lhasa a few days ago to go to nam-tso lake, one of the world's highest saltwater lake at about 4900 meter and stayed there overnight before coming back to lhasa again) i got the word that we'd be leaving tomorrow's dawn to shitgase (not sure if i spelled it correctly). during my stay in lhasa, i've seen much of the well known places, and out of boredom, i've managed to finish reading michael chabon's _kavelier and clay's adventures_. if you are into comic books as well as the witty use of terminology, i'd suggest you to read this book. it quite entertained me while in lhasa! now, i'm reading second book, _the unlikely spy_, by daniel silva. it's about world war ii's espionage between the allies and germany. i've read the first 100 pages so far, and it's pretty interesting... i think both of these books could find their way to hollywood. i wouldn't be surprised if _the unlikely spy_ would star harrison ford as alfred vicary. okay enough of my typing here...

gotta hit the sack soon!

Uh-oh - that's not a good thing to hear. You're killing time by reading American books in Tibet? Is Tibet that BORING?! I just find this very hard to believe! Stop reading! Take a stroll! :) Look forward to your next blog.

if you got time, you should read the book called, "Beyond the Sky"
it is a travel essay about the country of Bhutan. Take plenty of pictures!
