although isnt that what speed limits are for???
speed limits are meant to help more drivers break more laws...
we have too many laws around here if you ask me...
i just hope that we could find simple laws... and let the actions speak for itself as to build our instincts for the future. isn't that what animals aren't programmed to do?
Posted by: gabe on November 16, 2003 07:52 PMwe have laws so we can break them?
just remember: you, as a deaf person, have as much rights in america than any deaf people in other countries.
Posted by: muck on November 17, 2003 03:31 PMi am only referring to the general laws, not specifically on deaf people's rights. just simple 'moral' laws that can be applied to everyone in the world. all we need is to educate them better and we'd have less numbers of laws.
Posted by: gabe on November 17, 2003 03:59 PMwhy dont you break this law of blogging? :) be different, be the first to break the law of regular blogging. or even better.. never blog again.. now that's break the 'law' really. the law is not there for you to break.. there's nothing to break at all. it's all a simple reminder. if you cant even follow a reminder and becautions, YOUR roomate is bound to kill himself being recklessly over anything one day
Posted by: ash on November 18, 2003 12:01 AMthat's the custom of a law, something different from laws being set up for the moral needs only. what i truly believe is the natural world of law. you see animals and you don't actually kill them for pleasure. you actually kill them for your needs. so our brains are definitely superior in this world, yet very dangerous. we just need to be aware of what we do as opposed to being reckless for no reasons. a legal system to me is much similar to a system of theories. we add up more laws to make us more civilized thus making our society more complex daily.
Posted by: gabe on November 18, 2003 11:48 AMto kill is not to kill,
not to kill is kill,
to kill is kill
not to kill is not to kill
what is kill?
"just simple 'moral' laws that can be applied to everyone in the world."
thought you were bitchin about america, now its the world?
Posted by: muck on November 20, 2003 04:37 PMi was just trying to compare the natural laws which apply to everyone in the world compared to the laws being set up here in the america. i guess i wasn't specific at that time ;-) yes, i still BITCH about america yet i'm an american.
