PTA at french school

earlier tonight, i was walking back home with my grocery bags. next to my building is a new built private french-owned school. i see many parents wearing suits and dresses. i don't even see a guy wearing a polo shirt. there are even a few limos waiting in front of the school. this is definitely a group of uptight, high-class parents. i wonder how much is the academic tuition for a year there... isn't it sad that a child's tuition at this school would be more hefty than the one at a public college? usually a brief timeline of your college times is supposed to be your ultimate highlight of your long fulfilling life. i would be very PROUD of my kid if he went to a poor, funded public schools, and come out with a successful career. i have this belief that regardless on the levels of 'school society,' a decent teacher is all we ever need to guide students on a yellow brick road to a flourishing world. many teachers are definitely underappreciated in these days. i vote that principals/chancellors take a pay cut and give the portions to teachers. anyway, these snobby parents ought to support the teachers instead of hanging out often with the senior faculties. well, enough of my blabbering here! i think i noticed myself that i haven't been typing any intriguing thoughts into this blog lately. is it because i've lost the motiviation to keep up with this blog? or perhaps, my website is sooo friggin' outdated? (well, new site is still in the works now... so i guess you'll be expecting a new site to pop up here someday soon... how soon? don't ask me...)

Hey - That's two of my cousin are doing like that. They are having limo being picked & dropping off every day. However, they are very spoiled and gone off with successful track of career but I still believe that poorest school in nation have abilities to train/teach children to become one of the successful career unless we give in faith with teachers. I vote that teacher shall be paid more than comfort level.

That bldg next to ur bldg? Wow...giving me flashbacks where we used to attend the private school...surely, never like those uniforms esp those skirts. But, made our life easier to get up and put up our clothes, and zoomed to classes. :-D
Those kids surely have a lifestyle, yet either way have a successful or doom life in ahead of 'em.

SEX EDUCATION!

Posted by: muck on September 25, 2003 03:22 PM

we'd get sex education for free from our peers rather than in school! i think the content from friends are even BETTER than in school!

Posted by: gabe on September 25, 2003 03:33 PM

Wow! It's interesting about the budget for each grade level. I wonder if Elementary and High school gets the same pay? I believe so and depending on experience. According to your SEX Education, I think peers is more important unless they knew from right to wrong way and in classroom, it must be embrassing but it helps to fill in the picture for peers to protect themselves. I went to private school and never had a jacket. That's weird.

I think the extra 6k is for the real sex trainer. You get to play and kiss up with an actual french male/female of your choice.

These kindergarten and secondary school kids only get to do it with a doll ;-)
