that's the name of first bar that my roommate, dave and i officially entered earlier tonight in manhattan. the bar's nice and our friendly bartender, charlene, was superb nice to us that she gave us a pair of "bee sting" (that is guinness and cider to you) in welcoming us to UES on the third round just because she wanted us to be more blissfully tipsy. right now i'm sitting on a stair near our neighbors' place, taking advantage of their DSL line. I recently bought a wireless access point for them to use so we could use our laptop from our apartment, but it turns out that it didn't work, so i have about 15 days left to return this product back to the store. our neighbors absolutely love the access point already. it'd be fun to see their smile go upside down once i return the access point back. it seems like dave and i will have to rely on the t-mobile hotspot for a year or so.

anyway, yesterday, someone left a full size mattress outside of my building, so i just took it upstairs to my apartment. free stainless bed for me. what's next... a free microwave! i still haven't started searching for a job yet. i feel so chaotic with my apartment... guess i just need to settle down with it first before i can go madly job searching!
